Kim Kardashian, one of the world's most successful business women revealed on Wednesday while speaking at the Cannes Lions Festival that it was her husband, Kanye West who persuaded her to launch the thriving Game app-Kim Kardashian Hollywood and she is forever grateful. She said the company, Glu approached her after she gave birth to North and was being careful what to devote her time to and it was Kanye who convinced her to get involved in the game app which made $100 million in the first year.
Kim wore a stunning chic gold Balmain suit while she spoke and said her hubby thought it was the coolest thing to get involved as long as she had control over how the character looked, what it wore, did and said it would be fun.
Kim said the app was perfect for those who want to make it in Hollywood.
Snapchat CEO, Evan Siegel,25, worth $1.5 billion while speaking to Joanna Coles , Cosmopolitan Editor in Chief said the breakup with his girlfriend of 3 years propelled him to success and he had nothing much doing and was in the frame of mind to be creative.
Snapchat is worth $19billion.
Evans said he earlier created a website, 'Future Freshman' which was to help people choose their college but no one including his brother used it.
A key attribute to his success is he is not afraid to make mistakes and said that six months after Snapchat was created no one used it and it was daunting but now its used as an example and as such when you believe in a product, press on with it.
