Company this morning and a wonderful video chat with good friends in The California desert.

Wow even a better sleep last night, I guide Saturdays outing is catching up with us. I slept from 9 until 3 am, then tossing and turning for a bit. So like I did once before I call my amazing Nurse and requested toast with peanut butter on and glass of cold milk (3am) she promptly arrived with this for me and a few nibbles later this was down and I fell asleep. Almost like a sleeping pill.

Next thing I now it is 7:30 am change of shift for the nurses. Heck feels like I missed half my day already. So got some cereal juice and coffee, hopped in my wheel chair to get out of my room explore a bit and see what Micheal is doing in the kitchen. Some computing etc, and get ready for company, our Niece (Suzie's brother's daughter Stacey) and her family for a visit, They could not make it last Saturday but made a special effect today to visit, and so glad that they did.

Soon time for them to head out and we went down for lunch, mine today was more ravioli and 1/2 of a tomato sandwich, perfect just enough. Looks like supper will be a tasty one as well. Right after lunch we sat outside on the sheltered patio in the sunshine, perfect again to be able to do this here. Nothing like fresh air and sunshine on a winter day mild winter day..

They have a nice BBQ and found out I can use use it, just bring our own food, getting excited !

I need to check this out more and I can do some cooking outside again

Now at  3 pm here (1 pm California time) we had a FaceTime video chat with a bunch of our friends at Pilot Knob Resort Winter Haven California. Where we usually are at this time of year. What nice treat for us. The was wonderful almost like we were there and wish we were, nice and warm sunny and our friends enjoying this wonderful park in the desert where we had spent about of our last 13 winters one Christmas all the family faces and big smiles. Thank's to Bill Richards (on Our Way) for putting this together for us. Nice to see all the familiar faces we are missing this weather.

A bit later Suzie headed home after a full relaxing day and my supper arrived a very good turkey sandwich with my salad on the side.

        We both  enjoyed this great day company, sunshine good food time together and a real big bonus the live video FaceTime chat with or friends in the California desert. Gotta love today's technology.

And a huge Thank to to all of our friends that showed up there to wish us a long distance Merry Christmas, and wishing them all the best and Happy New year as well this was such a wonderful treat for us.

As well we would like to wish everyone else out there an early Merry Christmas too.
Soon gonna call it a night just because I can, think another good sleep recovering from our busy Saturday Christmas with family and rest up with another one too.
