Sunday was my Steve’s 60th birthday
and our daughter and granddaughters
surprised us with a visit.
They live about 6 hours away, in the state of Oregon. Soon after the girls arrived they got busy putting together a party for grandpa.
Can you think of anything better
than handmade cards.
Helping bake the birthday cake;
It’s a messy job,
but somebody’s got to do it.
Make a wish Grandpa Steve!
Grandpa surprised his girls with
a sock puppet making kit.
We had so much fun designing, cutting and gluing, until three great
puppets came to life.
Later we were entertained with
the best puppet show ever!
This was a bright and happy weekend
and one that grandpa will remember
for many years to come.
HAPPY 60 YEARS . . . AND MANY, MANY MORE!
