Oh, the bitter cold of winter. It has finally arrived here, but alas, still no snow. We are expected to have a wind chill factor of -31 tonight. So, I find myself more and more in front of the fire knitting away. They are just little things so they don't keep me warm but the rhythm is comforting and since I am knitting gifts the process warms my soul, if not my body!
This week's favorites...
Finished projects... a hat for one of my grandsons.
He wanted orange and pink.
Almost finished projects... my second Twiddle Muff. This one is decidedly less feminine!
New projects... another hat for another grandson.
He wants red with a blue stripe.
Fresh baked banana bread...
A purple princess dressed for her birthday ball...
Our balloon loving boy...
Rainbow cake with rainbow sprinkles...
And last, but certainly not least... Valentine flowers from my hubby. Daisies, because they are my favorite, three yellow roses for our three children and seven mini Black Eyed Susans, my mom's favorite, to represent our seven grandchildren. A very special arrangement from the heart.
I hope you found some favorite things in your world this week.
Thanks for dropping by...
