1986 vs 2016

Less than two weeks from now I'll be graduating from UMF Targu-Mures Dentistry, it's so funny how time flies by. I can still remember my first day at the university, like it was yesterday. I don't know about you but time went by much slower when I was in high school, don't you think so? My university years (6 years ) flew away so muck quicker!

Had the best time of my life (so far) and was so lucky to spend it with amazing people. I'll probably do a separate post about my university experience.

My mom started General Medicine University in 1980 and graduated in 1986, I started Dentistry in 2010 and will graduate in two weeks in 2016, really happy and grateful to share this unique experience with her. She had her 30 Year Reunion a few weeks ago.

Although she never wanted us to pursue a medical career, because it was stressful and hard, we ended up studying at the same University she did. As a single parent my mom struggled with her job and trying to raise us at the same time, but looking back as a child it seemed like she had everything under control. My mom and my grandfather raised us and taught us everything, I think they did a great job and I'm so grateful to have had so strong personalities and role models in our lives. They taught us to be independent, focused and hard working, and also to never give up on our dreams!
