Following the news of the passing of Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli who succumbed to heart complications on Wednesday at around 6 PM, Tanzanian celebrities took to their social media pages to mourn his death hailing his leadership. However, Bongo artist Harmonize caught the attention of many after taking to his Instagram live to mourn the late Magufuli while crying on live camera.
Reacting to the now-deleted video, the majority of the netizens took to the comment section to call him out for unnecessarily looking for clout with the President’s death with the majority of his followers deeming his action as unnecessary. According to them, they could not understand where the singer got the strength to record himself crying at night when the whole country went into mourning.
Nonetheless, a section of his fans defended his action noting that everyone has the right to mourn the President in whichever way they deemed fit.
